Machine dedicated to serial production for medium or large series and for large numbers of profiles. Pallet changing system of the rotary-travelling 2-station type, suitable for supporting a magnetic chuck of 1700x600 mm on each station. Elimination of 99% of dead-times for cleaning the work-table and for setting up and removing the workpiece. The pallet changing time is 60 seconds.

Handling of any operation, including wheel profiling, is controlled by the ROSA SYSTEM VII CNC (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) unit, using specific software for managing the changing of pallets. The specific software has been developed by ROSA ERMANDO engineers.

Electronic 3-axis system. Z axis / Y axis displayed on the readout. Setting of Y-axis stroke by teach-in. Setting of stock removal on Z. Automatic dressing cycle with automatic compensation of wheel consumption. Programmable sparkout strokes. Electronic handwheel on 3 axes. Motor-driven dresser on crossrail.

NC SYSTEM VI (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di):

  • 6-axes NC (3 axes are utilized), Hard-disk of 4.8 Gb, RAM 128 Mb, 10.5" TFT color video with active matrix.
  • Parameterized programming with self-learning of the work sizes;
  • Multilevel grinding (100 programs);
  • Profiling of grinding wheel can be realized through 11 macro-instructions;
  • Automatic dressing cycle and compensation even on Y-Axis.

 

Numerical Control CNC

The CNC unit is an CNC SYSTEM VII (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) model, where the part program has been realized by Rosa following a WINDOWS-LIKE scheme. Our CNC solution offers rapidity of use due to complete parameterized cycles. The utilization of softkeys makes the operator's job quite easy and quick.

  • 6-axes CNC (4 axes are utilized) for grinding machines with integrated PLC, Hard-disk 4.8 Gb, RAM 128 Mb, Floppy-disk 3.5"-1.44 Mb;
  • 15,4” high-resolution color video;
  • Parameterized programming with self-learning of the work sizes;
  • Multilevel grinding (100 programs);
  • Profiling of grinding wheel can be realized through 11 macro-instructions;
  • CAD-CAM integrated for creating profiles, dynamic work simulation and optimization of the tool path.
  • Automatic dressing cycle with compensation and automatic grinding cycle even on Y-Axis.
